Established in 1928, Yuet Tung China Works was Hong Kong's first hand-painted porcelain factory.
As required by the US, Hong Kong goods for export to the states have to be labelled as "Made in China" starting from November 9, 2020.
Although the requirement will not change a product's tariff designation, local manufacturers fear that such change would undermine the reputation of Hong Kong brands.
