b. 1991, Cuba.
Alexis Ruiseco is a Cuban photographer based in Brooklyn. As the actor and director, he investigates portraiture and the physicality of performance, in his self-portraiture, in order to reconfigure reality into his own narratives. He is also so preoccupied with femininity, as a subject and interested in its authority and dominance in the understanding and shaping of his masculinity. Alexis Ruiseco will receive his BFA from Parsons in 2016. He will be in the Parsons BFA 2016 exhibit.
