Recently, I was commissioned by National Geographic to write "Women of Vision: National Geographic Photographers on Assignment." For this book, I profiled 11 of the magazine's female photojournalists (Maggie Steber, Jodi Cobb, Lynsey Addario, Lynn Johnson, Stephanie Sinclair, Kitra Cahana, Diane Cook, Beverly Joubert, Amy Toensing, Carolyn Drake, and Erika Larsen).
