This is a longterm, for about 30 years now, and still ongoing project about my view of everyday surroundings, working title "Meanwhile in Banalistan" or „splendid ordinary“ or just „splendid“. A more comprehensive text will follow.
I'm influenced and fascinated by "The new topographic movement" and photographers like Stephen Shore or William Egglestone. This is not a very new attitude. The exhibition "New Topographics: Photographs of a Man-Altered Landscape" was in 1975, but it is still relevant to me.
A self published book will follow but I'm still working on the photographs and not fed up with this topic yet ;-)
